2       WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU LEAVE A WILL

  • A properly drawn Will enables your intentions regarding your estate to be clear to those you leave behind.

  • Your Executors assume responsibility for your affairs with immediate effect; they do not need to wait for their appointment to be confirmed by the court although this will be required for certain assets.

  • You decide who you wish to benefit, who you wish to administer your estate and how the tax burden (if any) should fall.
