It is hoped this will help you when moving and take some of the stress out of the process.  You can use the following experts:-

Solicitor or Conveyancer:  This is the person who deals with the legal transaction to make sure you get a good title to the property you intend to buy and that your purchaser is happy with your title and the lawyer will ask you to complete some forms: ask for their help if you find them difficult.

Estate Agent:  This is the person who advertises and sells your property and who is the best person to visit when looking for another property.  They should consul you about the way in which the property is marketed and, after a purchaser is found, should monitor the process of the transaction.

Surveyor: This is the person who should give you a detailed report on the physical condition of the property you are buying and comment on the repairs and work that may need to be done to put the property in good order.



 

Newsflash

At last some good news from the Treasury concerning inheritance tax. However, despite the press headlines, the changes announced by the chancellor, Mr Darling, are more about the operation of the allowances than increasing them.
